The Winding Way
Some races will be long and gritty while others might be short and flat. Some runners will come just hoping for the finish line, while others will be pushing for the win. We will offer multiple distance options at most events to give more runners the opportunity to participate wherever they are in their current fitness level or race calendar. No matter the distance or difficulty, we hope that all runners, crews, and spectators catch the vibe Winding Way strives to cultivate. What is this “vibe”? Abstractly put, it’s the sum of everything that makes up the ethos of Winding Way, in the form of a running event. Simply put, it’s a culture that compels people to want the best out of each other. You can line up, looking for a podium, but also want your competition to perform well. You can bonk at mile 22 and still cheer on everyone that passes you. You can win the stinkin’ thing and then turn your attention to cheering others through their finish lines. You can DNF and still show up to a post-race meal to congratulate others on their race…… You get the point….. and we hope you’re starting to catch the vibe as well.
