Brian is a “late bloomer” when it comes to running. His journey began as an attempt to check the “one and done” marathon off his list at the age of 40. However, things quickly escalated with the discovery that people can actually run farther than 26.2 miles. Once introduced to the mindsets and personalities of the ultrarunning community, there was no turning back.
Immersing himself in the training process, Brian found countless takeaways that were equally applicable to life itself. This infusion of everything good that can be learned throughout the running journey sparked the vision that propelled him to where we are today - hosting running events. While he continues to pursue his own running goals, he’s equally focused on fostering a supportive environment where others can chase theirs. He wants people to understand that they’re capable of more than they think they are - and that even when they think they’ve grasped this concept, they’re still underestimating themselves.
Additionally, Brian is a husband, father, friend, and owner of a good number of instruments he doesn’t really know how to play. He’s eternally optimistic and often finds himself lost in grand, perhaps slightly delusional, dreams. If you are around him enough, you will certainly overhear him say “more cowbell”.
