The race will take place on Sunday, October 27th at 1 PM. The start/finish area will be located near First Landing State Park Beach and the Cape Henry Trailhead. Directions can be obtained by navigating to "First Landing State Park Boat Ramp". This will bring you through the 64th Street park entrance and take you just past the start/finish areas (1.6 miles) to the large parking area (1.7 miles).
-
The opening mile will take place on the road to allow the field to spread out before hitting the trails. The rest of the race, except for a small connector of road, will take place on the trails. There will be roots, bridges, sandy sections, and beautiful scenery through the rolling trails of First Landing with approximately 300 feet of elevation gain. There will be a 4 hour time limit to complete the course.
